Ratification Update
The steering committee met on this day [30-Mar-2023].
We are developing a questionnaire to seek direction from the membership, anticipate the questionnaire and further information to be released on April 11th.

Ratification Update
We have heard what the membership has said,
Our bargaining team has has finished their meeting today. They will be meeting with the original steering committee on Thursday to seek direction on how to proceed with finalising bargaining.
A questionnaire will be going out to the membership, and from the questions there will be a special membership meeting to answer the questions prior to returning to the bargaining table. Both the questionnaire and Special Membership Meeting have yet to be determined regarding when and where they will occur.

Our bargaining team will be meeting this Friday in the afternoon to discuss the next steps going forward for the membership and ratification. More information will be announced to the membership either Friday night or as soon as possible.

Ratification Meeting
- There will be a ratification on Thursday the 16th of March at the Hickman Building (HHB) Room 105 at 4:30 PM.
- For those unable to make it in person Thursday, you will be able to watch virtually but will need to come in person on Friday to vote.
- We will be voting on the results from bargaining both on the 16th and 17th of March
- CUPE 917 has reached a tentative agreement with the University of Victoria on Tuesday the 7th of March at 5:00 PM
- Wednesday General meeting is cancelled
- Voting on Friday will take place at Clearihue on the main floor (1st floor) in the hall at the corner between A-wing & D-wing. Voting will be open between 8:30AM to 5:30PM
