At this meeting the election for Secretary Treasurer will be held, and nominations for a vacant Member at Large position will be taken

A couple items on the Agenda is elections for 2 Member at Large positions, and setting an Education Budget.
There is a CUPE 917 General Meeting coming up on November 15, 2017. One of the items on the agenda is an election for President of our local. We have three candidates who have allowed their name to stand for the position, they are:

Claude Champagne
Craig Marykuca
Please make an effort to come out to the meeting and have your voice heard. As a democratic organization it’s important that we exercise our right to vote!!

December is fast approaching, which means it’s almost time for the CUPE 917 Christmas Party! Sign up sheets have now been posted on the Union Message Boards in all areas. Tickets are limited, so sign up before they’re all spoken for!

Due to location capacity, priority will be given to CUPE 917 members. A single guest ticket is available to be requested at time of sign up but is not guaranteed and will only be distributed if there is capacity available after all union members have received their ticket.
