As of August 8, CUPE Local 4163 Component 3 (which includes sessional instructors and music performance instructors), reached an impasse in their bargaining with the University. Local 4163 Component 3 took a strike vote in the last week of July and achieved a 92 % vote in favour of job action. We all hope job action won’t be necessary and we stand in Solidarity with them as they work to reach a fair and equitable agreement. We will continue to update you as information becomes available.
